This place is a short walk to the waterfront and shops, with excellent and competent staff who quickly address any issues you may have.

The breakfast was very good and EXCELLENT, we thoroughly enjoyed a wide range of meals. The rooms are tidy and well-equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and an individual safe.

The location in a financial area was nice and decent. There were a shopping mall and a big shopping mall nearby. It was surely a very very good stay for the following 2 nights. We really liked the room which had a separate single bed. the pool on the top floor is worth a visit.

During our Easter weekend, we decided to stay at a hotel close to the city center. the hotel we picked exceeded our expectations! the rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. We also loved the rooftop pool which offered a fantastic view of the surroundings. the gym was also very nice, and we enjoyed working out with a view of the city. We were happy to find out that the hotel was located near many great restaurants and bars.

Some areas needed maintenance, and the carpets in the hallway were showing wear and tear. It would have been nice if they had provided more towels for the pool, and the breakfast was not very impressive.

The view from our room was amazing, we could see the city lights and the sunrise. The pool area had a nice atmosphere, with a bar and comfortable chairs. , the breakfast had a good variety of food, including some local dishes.

The hotel needed some maintenance, the carpets in the hallways were dirty, and some areas had chipped or broken tiles. , the location wasn't very convenient, as we had to take a cab to reach the main attractions.

Great rooms with a fantastic view

I booked a studio room at Sky Hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room. It had a separate living area and could easily accommodate more than 4 people. The highlight for me was the sky pool located on the rooftop of the hotel. It offered a great view of Kota Kinabalu city and was perfect for a nighttime swim. Though there was no balcony, I could still enjoy the city view from the window. The hotel also allowed cooking in the room, although I had to request cooking utensils from the receptionist. The staff, both at the reception and housekeeping, were kind and helpful throughout my stay. I really enjoyed my experience at Sky Hotel Kota Kinabalu.
